Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to RentPouch. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Who may use RentPouch
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting account credentials, and all activity performed through your account.
What RentPouch provides
RentPouch provides software for organizing rental-property operations, including property and lease records, payments and bills, inspections, deposits, maintenance, legal-case records, documents, and optional AI features. Features may change as the service develops.
RentPouch does not contact tenants
RentPouch is an internal tool for self-managing landlords. It does not independently email, text, call, or send notices to tenants. You control and are solely responsible for tenant communications, required notices, service methods, timing, and record accuracy.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for determining whether your use of RentPouch complies with fair-housing, landlord-tenant, privacy, consumer-protection, record-retention, court, and other laws applicable to you. You must have authority to upload or process personal information and documents. You may not use RentPouch to harass, discriminate, mislead, violate another person’s rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
No legal, tax, or accounting advice
RentPouch stores information and helps prepare records. It is not a law firm, accounting firm, court service, tenant-screening agency, or substitute for qualified professional advice. Generated notices, deposit dispositions, legal summaries, deadlines, and financial calculations must be reviewed before use.
AI features
AI output may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate for a particular jurisdiction. You must review every AI response and draft before relying on it or saving it as an official record. Do not submit information to AI features unless you have authority to process it.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
The Free plan supports up to three properties and excludes AI features. The $9 monthly plan supports up to five properties with AI chat and voice. The $29 monthly plan supports unlimited properties with AI chat and voice. Taxes may apply. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period unless otherwise stated at purchase. Fees already paid are nonrefundable except where required by law.
Your content
You retain ownership of information and files you submit. You grant RentPouch the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content for you. You represent that you have the necessary rights and authority to provide it.
Service availability
We work to keep RentPouch available and reliable, but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, or product changes may temporarily affect access. Keep independent copies of records required by law or essential to your business.
Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties; investigate suspected misuse; comply with law; or address unpaid fees. You may stop using RentPouch at any time and request account deletion through supported account controls.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentPouch is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or that the service will be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentPouch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines, tenant disputes, or legal outcomes arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material updates will be posted with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service or account contact information. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
